Storrie Lake is a local treasure for hiking, fishing, boating, bird watching, windsurfing or just relaxing in a wonderful world of colors and warm summer breezes.
Located just 4 miles north of Las Vegas in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the lake surface is approximately 1,100 acres created by a 1,400-foot dam storing water from the Gallinas River.
Stay Overnight or Spend the Day
Campsites, RV sites and hookups are available for overnight camping as well as day use. The visitor center features historic exhibits on the Santa Fe Trail and 19th century Las Vegas.
